Chelease Parks has been involved in ministry since the age of 12, when her mother was ordained as a pastor. She took the initiative to create her own youth group within their church and, as an adult, was ordained as an associate pastor by her church. Chelease co-pastored alongside her mother until her passing in 2020. A proud Marine veteran, she is accompanied by her wonderful service dog, Brad, and enjoys reading and praise dancing.
Chelease frequently travels to Iowa to visit her son and his family, as well as her siblings and friends, whenever her schedule allows. She is also a national speaker, addressing organizations on topics related to mental health, the impact of PTSD on veterans, and strategies for transitioning workplaces to achieve better outcomes for veterans.
