Thresholds of Promise: Standing at the Threshold

Broadway, it has been a year! We have journeyed through trials and transitions arriving

at the threshold of something new. Our lives are filled with threshold moments. All of

us have stood in that sacred space between what was and what will be, holding the

complexity of emotion and anticipation therein. For the next four weeks we take stock

of the thresholds in our lives and linger at this unique threshold in our own Broadway

story. Join us as we prepare our hearts to embrace the sacred promise and possibility

emerging in our midst.

Sunday Synopsis

Scripture: Deuteronomy 34:1-5

We’ve all stood at threshold moments in our lives, moments of transition that are

imbued with presence, promise. and possibility. Moses knew this as he stood at the

threshold of the promised land in his final days. Soon, his people who had endured

much, would cross over into the hope and promise that awaits. What thresholds are

you facing in your own life? How is God meeting you in this space? How might we

embrace this threshold moment at Broadway as we anticipate Love’s leading?
